We value your privacy here at LAFF, and
we do not give or sell information
about you to anyone, ever.
If you choose to use our personal ads, when you place your personal ad on LAFF, the only info that is shown about you
in your ad is your username, the state
and country you live in, and your ad.
When you respond to an ad, NO personal
information about you is shown, including
your email address. The person receives
an email from LAFF (not you), and the
email shows only your username and your
message to them. No contact information is
shown, (unless you put that in your message
to them, but we do not recommend that
in the first few contacts). When someone
responds to your ad, you can reply to them
directly from that email by clicking on
the link given. Your reply is anonymous
and only shows your username and message.
We recommend, however, to protect your
privacy even further, that you set up
a separate email address from a site like www.yahoo.com
or www.hotmail.com. We do occasionally send
information emails, so you may not
want to use an email address that
anyone else has access to.

WHAT IS LAFF ALL ABOUT?
We are a site for all people worldwide,
age 18 to 118, who wish to connect with
other people for friendship, love, &
support. Membership is open to all, and
beneficial for everyone. We do, however,
especially cater to people who are health-
challenged in any way, have herpes, genital warts, hiv+,
another STD, a disability, or have physical,
mental, or emotional challenges of any kind.
In addition to personal ads, we offer
tons of information and links for support
groups, message boards, chat, medication,
diseases and conditions, health organizations,
social clubs and groups, and more. We
frequently search the internet and
add new links to keep the site current.
HOW DO I PLACE AN AD?
Join us! It only costs a low one-time
membership fee of $10.00 to join! Not only do we have TONS of information for you, we have some fantastic members who would love to meet YOU!

The easiest way is to just delete it and submit a new ad.

enter your username and password;
then select delete.

WHY CAN'T I PUT A PICTURE IN MY AD?
We decided not to allow pictures for privacy purposes.
You can respond to someone's ad and request a picture through email.
AFTER I PLACE MY FREE AD AND SOMEONE RESPONDS TO IT, DO I HAVE TO PAY TO RESPOND BACK TO THEM?
No. You can respond to them free. There will be a link in the email you get that you can click on to respond back to them.
YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY
Please read this carefully and take heed!
Don't give out personal info right away such as your last name, address, and phone number. Always take a cell phone. If you decide to meet someone in person, always let someone know about your plans and tell them to call you on your cell phone in an hour. Call your friend every hour. Go to the restroom and do it if you have to. Tell your friend if you don't call them every hour to call 911. Meet in a public place & take your own car. Have a soda or coffee together at first. Drinking beer, wine, or other alcoholic beverages together at first is not a good idea for many reasons. Keep it short and sweet. If traveling out of town, use hotels. Do NOT tell this person your hotel room number or bring this person to your hotel room. Say goodnight in the lobby! Do not ride in their car at ANY time for ANY reason, not even "let me give you a ride to your car." Don't even let them walk you to your car. You don't know this person yet! Looks can be very deceiving and so can behavior. Most serial killers are charming and attractive at first, too! DON'T RISK IT. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BEING TOO SAFE OR TOO CAREFUL. Leave ALONE immediately if you feel uncomfortable for ANY reason. You don't have to make an excuse but if you feel you want to, tell them you don't feel well. Make sure the person doesn't follow you home. Don't hesitate to call 911 if scared.
No matter how strong the chemistry is, do NOT NOT NOT sleep with someone until trust and friendship have been developed! This takes time!
Anyone worthy and honest is willing
to wait until you're comfortable,
should respect your caution, and
should have the same caution!
Don't be a victim. Use your head. Take care of yourself. Remember, the true person isn't revealed right away. It takes time! Don't be in a rush.
